Awesome burgers and soup!

WOW! AwesomeEats! I make it a point to eat here when I am within 25 miles. I enjoyed 3 meals hear this past Friday and Saturday. The Pok-E Western, The C&C. Smoked Turkey, Cream Corn, Green Beans, Nanapudin. WOW! I'll be back.

Im start off by saying way to go POK-E-JOES!!! My husdand and i stopped by to try one of the areas best burgers. Well my waitress was great with it being our first time she made sure that i knew everything on the menu as well as a few things they had to offer that were not on menu. We both still ordered burgers, and which were out before i even knew it.. The cook then asked how everything was that was another plus for the resturant considering the staff wanted to make sure everything meet our needs. GREAT SPEEDY FRIENDLY SERVICE!!!!!!! way to go pok-e-joes i will deff be back as well as everyone i know

Can you pack BBQ in dry ice? Then send me two pounds to GA!

This is the best Bar-be-que in town!!! The service is great and their employees are so friendly. My husband and I tried it for the first time after Christmas and was so impressed with the food and price. We will make the trip from Bedford to eat here again..wish there was one close to Bedford we would visit once a week..it's that GOOD!!!!

I too seem to disagree with Larry! We have been frequenting Pok-E-Joes since Walter started it in Madison Heights....still just as good even with Bill running it now....and by the way , Bill DOES smile and laugh, my husband and I had a wonderful conversation with him when we were in tonight. Talking about growing up in Nelson County and people we knew .....Great job Bill and staff........

Pok-E-Joes is the best BBQ joint around, hands down!! Doesn't just include BBQ, but also the best Cheeseburgers, Smoked Turkey, and tacos. If you haven't got to enjoy a real Texas meal from Pok-E-Joes, then I would highly recommend you to come. Wait Staff is excellent. When you walk through the doors, whoever is working, greets and treats you like family!

I seriously disagree with Larry's comments. I went today and Bill was super friendly. The waitress remembered our names and drink orders after only 1 other visit. Michael, the cook, took the time to come over and make sure everything was the way we liked it. You def. don't get that service at many other restaurants!!! Good job, Bill and staff. We'll be back! :)

The Turkey Wrap is incredible. I mean, this is no ordinary turkey wrap. It's the bomb-diggity turkey wrap!!! Everything there is so great -- the food, the service, the atmosphere. Definitely the best bbq (and turkey) in town. :)

Great food, great service. Treated like family. Must disagree with previous comment though - much improved in all aspects from previous owner. Best burgers in Lynchburg! Keep up the great work Bill!
